Houses is a young, alternative pop band. Their broad line-up consisting of two guitars, bass, drums and Hammond organ results in powerful, melancholic songs that are built up from subdued silence to grand exuberance with surprising arrangements. Influenced by the Canadian indie scene (Feist, Broken Social Scene) and Death Cab For Cutie, Amsterdambased Houses manage to sound tough and fragile at the same time. September 2010 they released their first EP ‘End Of Story’.
