Hunting The Robot, arises at the end of 2009 from a burning desire to a renewal in the Dutch music scene. Despite their short existence, Hunting The Robot have already won prices like Popsport 2008-2009, High School Music Competition 2010 and playing with bands such as Infadels (UK), Customs (B) and Go Back To The Zoo. These ’ Brilliant potentials’ (3voor12) deserve to be heard.

These four boys, with an average age of 16 years are not averse to experiment in their danceable indie-rock. Unique song structures and poetical tinted lyrics with the intention of ’ tickling the brain ’ are basic Hunting The Robot attributes. They share the same vision with the likes of Radiohead, Foals and Bloc Party: create and explore.

Hunting The Robot brings now finally their long-awaited debut EP, Our Ocean Is Illuminated. Surrounded by four damp walls and the constant smell of sweat, these men recorded something where they finally do themselves justice. Our Ocean Is Illuminated is an effigy of a perpetual quest for perfection and a revolution in the Dutch music scene.
