If you think there’s a minimum age for serious rock, Dutch pianorock band Only Seven Left will prove you wrong. These five young guys are ready to play their contagious tunes for the entire world.
When brothers Jochem and Hinne started the band in 2006, they instantly got attention from new fans. Their first release ‘Forever Is A Lie’ received an overwhelming response from the press and the band got to play on Tinadag, one of the largest Dutch festivals for teenage girls. In 2008 Only Seven Left released their single ‘October Tune’ and were then asked to do a short tour in Egypt. In 2009 Only Seven Left opened for the popular US pop punk band Metro Station in Amsterdam. The new single ‘My Side Of The Story’ turned out to be YouTube hit, mainly due to the Only Seven Left fans who were the stars of the video.
In January 2010 they recorded ‘Wake Up Call’ with Arno Krabman. It was mastered by Troy Glessner (Anberlin, Copeland). Right after its release ‘Wake Up Call’ was played on national radio and the music video stayed on high rotation on Dutch MTV for 13 weeks.
